This event was held in Japan, Tokyo where APO is headquarted. The SPW is an important event initiated by their Secretary General, Dr Santhi Kanoktanaporn for the senior planning officers. During the event, APO Vision for 2020 were presented. Key topics like blockchain technologies and smart manufacturing are also widely discussed.

Mr. Anndy Lian, Linfinity CEO and also the APO Blockchain Advisor presented an overview of the blockchain industry. He has quoted various used case studies that are published from his book “Blockchain Revolution 2030” and how the forth industrial revolution is built on blockchain and advanced artificial intelligence. He has also identified key industries that will need blockchain technologies- supply chain, medical, gaming and finance as part of his blockchain vision 2030.

”I want to share my blockchain knowledge with more people and I hope the members’ countries can benefit from the insights that I have shared during this senior planning workshop. I want them to understand the real truth behind blockchain technologies and how it can be implemented with ease and efficiently in their countries. We have heard too many myths about blockchain and cryptocurrencies, my session brought all of them back to the reality and together with the right business logics, many of them started to understand how this technology works and it will apply to them.” Anndy Lian said.

Anndy has also advised and will help APO to use blockchain to protect the authenticity of APO certificates. Finally, he sums up his speech by telling everyone that blockchain needs more time to develop and we should increase awareness and reach out to as many people as possible during this stage.
