Canada’s first Bitcoin ETF secures $420 million in 2 days

According to CoinDesk, US$420 million was invested in North America’s first Bitcoin Listed Index Fund (ETF) in two days.

On the 18th (local time), Purpose Investment announced that it will list Bitcoin-related ETFs on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).

The interest of Performance Investment is considerable. On the first day, there were already over $100 million in transactions, and on the 19th it is reported that over $432 million has been received.

Bloomberg Telecom ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said via Twitter that “Perform Investments’ ETFs could secure more than $1 billion.”

On the 19th, another Bitcoin ETF, the Evolve ETF, was listed on TSX and announced that it has received an investment of over $1.2 million. Both Evolve and Perpose Investment Bitcoin ETFs have a 1% management fee.
