CZ, CEO of Binance Shares “What is driving Bitcoin & other Cryptocurrencies” with Singapore Mainstream Media

Bitcoin surges closed to an all-time high of just under $20,000. Bitcoin price jumps by 34% this month. Changpeng Zhao, normally known as CZ shares his thoughts on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and what is driving the market.

CZ is a serial entrepreneur with an impressive track record of successful startups. He launched Binance in July 2017 and within 180 days, grew Binance into the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world. He is currently the CEO of Binance.

The following are some points that CZ brought up in this interview with Channel News Asia, hosted by Pamela Ambler.

– Regulations are more clear and this leads to a high institutional investment like Microstrategy, Square, Greyscale.
– China pushing CBDC.
– Halving of Bitcoin.
– More exchanges with better UI and UX and better liquidity.
– OTC desks are also facilitating.
– More investors view bitcoin as a viable alternative to paper currencies.

Anndy Lian, an early blockchain adopter comments on his Twitter “More investors view btc as a viable alternative to paper currencies. Bullish to the max for many.” And then he went on agreeing with CZ “Let’s make this a long sustainable run.”

At the end of the interview when asked what is his prediction for Bitcoin, CZ remains “bullish”. Binance is a cryptocurrency exchange that provides a platform for trading various cryptocurrencies. and is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world in terms of trading volume. One of their latest focus now is the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). This is a new blockchain with a full-fledged environment for developing high-performance decentralized applications. It was built for cross-chain compatibility with Binance Chain to ensure that users get the best of both worlds.
