[Blockchain Today Reporter Park Yohan] Following the recent decision by Dallas Mavericks to accept payment for goods with Dogecoin, billionaire Mark Cuban asked other celebrities to use Dogecoin as a form of payment. It seems to be urging.

According to Cointelegraph reports, Cuban said in a video interview with TV talk show host Ellen Degenerus on the 27th (local time), “DOGE may start from a joke, but now it is becoming a digital currency.”

The owner of Dallas Mavericks cited the success of the basketball team’s stores after accepting the token in March, and told Degenerus, “We will be able to sell a lot more stuff with DogeCoin. The Ellen Shop. The Ellen Shop) should consider this token.” Regarding this, Degenerus said, “I will definitely try it. I am also interested in Dogecoin, and I would like to know more about it.”

In particular, a TV talk show host clarified on Twitter about cryptocurrency and Doji that, “I don’t know how to do it myself or how to pronounce it, but it’s really fun to talk about it.” Degenerus has already launched an irreplaceable token called’Woman with a Stick Cat’ to raise money for the World Central Kitchen. One of these packages was sold for $14,555 on the 27th.

Cuban predicted that if more people use the token to purchase Dallas Mavericks, the price of Dogecoin will reach $1. As of April 13, the basketball team is known to have accepted 122,000 papers (currently equivalent to about $32,5757), and sales increased by 550% from last month.

At the Ellen Show, Cuban said, “I can’t say it’s the best investment in the world, but it’s much better than the lottery. “It’s a great way to start learning and understanding cryptocurrency.”

Dogecoin surpassed $0.40 earlier this month and fell back to less than $0.30 after a record high, despite having earned more than 14,000% in a year. Even a small number of Ellen Show viewers, estimated at 1.5 million as of March, could potentially raise prices if Cuban showed the same enthusiasm for buying Dogecoin.
