The Gamefi space is booming, with 1500 projects being tracked at the moment, but the lack of support from active communities due to the barriers to GameFi is higher than those of traditional games. There are new concepts to learn, such as blockchain, cryptocurrency, metaverse, and a different economic model to understand. Meanwhile, guilds and platforms are still relying on time-consuming and complex manual measures to onboard and manage their gamers, which decelerates the population growth. Lack of integration between game ecosystems also reduced the efficiency for investors to analyze investment or staking’s profitability prior to the trade, and the in-game assets cannot be easily traded cross-chains.
The MetaOne project works toward solving this range of problems limiting the growth of the Gamefi Space.
