Blockcast.cc Interviews MONI: Uptrend Despite Yesterday’s Market Downturn

Please introduce MONI and how it started:
The MONI project began with memes that capture the lives of office workers. It was inspired by the reality that many Korean office workers feel sad about the end of the weekend and dislike Mondays. The “Monday Morning Bird” meme represents these feelings and serves as a fun way to relieve stress for office workers. MONI quickly gained attention based on the high market activity in Korea, resonating deeply with realistic stories of Korean office workers. As it shared the universal dislike for Mondays with a global audience of office workers, Moni not only achieved widespread recognition but also reached significant financial milestones, with a peak market cap of $17 million and a trading volume of $9.328 million.

How Does MONDAY BIRD Differentiate Itself from Other Meme Coins?
The meme market has been filled with dog and cat themes so far, along with numerous spin-off memes that are copies or derivatives of existing characters. Although the market for meme coins on Solana is still relatively young, I firmly believe that this meta will change. BIRDs fly in the sky. Just as the saying goes, “the one who flies is above the one who runs,” we think BIRDs can have an attractive narrative. To realize this, we are preparing to unite with other BIRD memes to speak with one voice.

Can you discuss the importance of the Monday Morning Bird meme and how it resonates with the audience?
I believe the fundamental value of memes is emotional resonance. Memes express people’s emotions, and from a long-term perspective, meme projects should not forget this value. While $MONI started in crypto, we ultimately hope it will be widely used as stickers on major messengers (WhatsApp, WeChat, Line, KakaoTalk). Like the PEPE meme, we aim to integrate it into everyday life beyond crypto, making it widely known.

What is $MONI Currently Preparing and Progressing?
We are thinking of trying things that are difficult for existing countries like the US or Europe to attempt. Unlike the US, Asian communities and networks are difficult for foreigners to access due to their closed nature. While our team is based in Korea, we know these communities well and have worked with them. We aim to lead the Asian market volume better than anyone, based on Korea and China. Currently, we are positively discussing with major figures in the Asian region, and while there is no 100% guarantee in the investment market, if we collaborate with them, the current price will surely be seen as very undervalued.

What Role Does Blockcast.cc Have in MONI’s Marketing Strategy?
The strategic marketing partnership with Blockcast will serve as a cornerstone for uniting holders in the Northeast Asian region. Blockcast aims for a slightly slower but solid play rather than a simple Degen play, which we believe will be significant for Northeast Asian users in the MONI community. Through this, we can increase the loyalty of local holders and promote long-term community growth.

Can You Share Examples of Interactive Events or Experiences Planned for the Community?
We continuously plan holder-friendly promotions, events, and various activities. For example, we provide opportunities for users to actively participate and enjoy through game events using MONI tokens, meme contests, and community participation events. These events play a crucial role in enhancing community cohesion and increasing interest and participation in the MONI project.

Can You Explain the Role of Token Burning in MONI’s Token Management Strategy?
To transition into a community-centered project, we see token burning as an important strategy. Our goal is to move away from initial member control and transition to a community-centered approach, frequently burning tokens through game fees, etc. This strategy helps maintain the value of MONI and significantly increases community trust.
