Why Python Matters?
Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programming language with dynamic semantics. Often, programmers fall in love with Python because of the increased productivity it provides.
Real Life Application
Our Intro to Programming experience in Python will allow beginning students to explore new concepts through problem-solving.
Program Outcome
We take an innovative approach to teaching students the design of functions, lists, dictionaries, string manipulation, for/while loops, decision making, string/list indexing, python libraries, logical/comparison/arithmetic operators, and fundamental built-in Python functions. By the end of this experience, you will have the skill set to start building exciting projects on your own.
Skill Level
We recommend that students have a basic understanding of programming before applying for this course. However, our Introduction to Python course is highly recommended for students with little to no experience programming as their first coding experience. Python is easy to understand, fun to use, and is becoming the prevailing choice by Universities as their introductory Computer Science language.
