Gwangyang City, Jeollanam-do announced on the 12th that it will recruit 200 students for the 2nd term of artificial intelligence and blockchain education to foster high-end talents who will lead regional industrial digital innovation, strategic industries, and new technology startups by May 7.

Education is part of the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning’s regional ICT Innovation Square project, which aims to cultivate key digital talents, the core task of the Korean version of the New Deal.

The education fee is completely free of charge, and anyone in Jeonnam Province can apply at any time, as well as any residents of Jeollanam-do, who are currently enrolled in corporations, college students, or graduates (expected) and are interested in artificial intelligence and blockchain.

The curriculum consists of 17 detailed courses: basic courses for non-majors, projects for majors and developers, and specialized courses.

The main contents of education include deep learning language education, artificial intelligence video and audio processing, certification acquisition course, and instructor training course.

Education will be conducted online to prevent the infection of Corona 19, and from the second half of the year,’collective education’ will be conducted at the specialized training room on the 2nd floor of the Gwangyang City Community Center.
