OKEx phishing app found on Apple App Store in China. This incident is reported by Anndy Lian on Twitter. Anndy has mentioned that the community member has lost $55k.
The phishing app connects you to their wallet and upon transferring the cryptocurrencies. Upon doing so, you can only trade and minimum leverage is 125% and the maximum is 500%. Withdrawal is only allowed trade and there is a certain ratio that you can withdraw. This seems like phishing and force trade and “gamble” app.
The phishing site looks very similar to @okex. Please beware of such scams. Spread this to avoid possible scams. Police are aware of this case, they cannot do anything, too many cases of such in China. Apple has not responded. pic.twitter.com/JWUnkJPW7U
