Beyond Blockchain: Emerging Technology Evolution

Loading

Is blockchain just the first step in the next evolution of technology? Is there something beyond blockchain?

In the emerging technology landscape, blockchain is widely discussed as being revolutionary and transformational. It’s in vogue, it’s making a lot noise and it’s being touted as a disruptor to a myriad of industries. It may be the next step in technological evolution but are there other technologies that will be on the other side? Two developments in the mix are holochain and quantum technologies.

Holochain provides every device on the network its own secure ledger, improving transaction and energy efficiency. By using a holographic model for data storage and transfer, it allows developers to scale in multiple dimensions across a truly distributed network.
Speaker: Anouk Pinchetti, Blockchain Centre Educator and Holochain Enthusiast

Empowering users with quantum technologies, Australian-based EMU Quantum Co-Labs is creating a blockchain with unparalleled data security and energy efficiency by making quantum-enabled hardware devices accessible to everyone. EMU will tell the story of Codemakers vs Codebreakers with the moral being that today, the digital landscape is fundamentally changing due to recent advances in quantum computing technologies. EMU is building a quantum-secure light-based blockchain that uses single particles of light (quantum particles) to ensure users enjoy unparalleled data security today.
Speaker: Adam J Bennett, CEO and Co-Founder of EMU Quantum Co-Labs

Join us to learn more about developments in these technologies and explore how this may be part of what is beyond blockchain.
