The blockchain awareness day seeks to bring together stakeholders in the blockchain space. These include the various blockchain communities, government officials, local enterprise partners, international partners and local investors.These stakeholders will outline plans and strategies that are essential in creating an enabling environment for the growth and development of the blockchain space in Kenya.
The event will focus on what has been achieved so far within the blockchain community here in Kenya while at the same time allowing the international partners to outline their roles in supporting the blockchain space in Kenya.
There will be local speakers during the event as well as international partners joining in via video call from China, New York , St. Louis Missouri, Australia, Israel and Canada.

Event Program description
The event will start at 3pm, guests will be registered at the entrance. Each guest will select a group to which they belong, developers, crypto traders, artists, researchers, entrepreneurs. Each of these guests will then proceed into the plenary hall where they will meet with other people of their own group. The session will run for 1 hour 30 minutes from 3 pm.
At 4:30 pm Daniel Kimotho, community lead for EOS Nairobi will give a 30-minute keynote introducing blockchain technology and giving the EOS Nairobi Community roadmap.
At 5:00 pm Anand Mohan of Techno Brain will give a 30-minute keynote address on how technology companies and conglomerates can create a favorable ecosystem for development of blockchain technology as well as the potential of this technology.
At 5:30 pm the Bit-shares cofounder, Fuzzy will share his journey in building the Bitshares protocol. He will also describe what he sees as the transformative and life changing applications of blockchain technology and which projects he thinks will have the most impact globally.
At 6:00 pm Techno-Brain, EOS Nairobi and the Academic partners: Strathmore University, Meru University and Ether Africa club of University of Nairobi will sign a partnership MoU and launch the blockchain incubator.
At 6:15 pm guests will be served food and refreshments
At 6:45 pm an international panel of speakers from Block.one, EOS Go, OCI, EOS New York, EOS London, China and Australia will have a panel discussion around blockchain technology.
At 7:45 Guests will be free to leave at their pleasure
