Tell you five ways to enter the world of encryption more “lightly” without writing a line of code.
Original title: “5 Tips for All Encryptors”
Written by: Typto
There is no doubt that the crypto world is a world belonging to technical people. As an encryption person with a non-technical background, I am always in awe of technology, and I also respect the technology gods and research experts. At the same time, as an encryption person with a non-technical background, I think I have stepped into the door of the encryption world, become a part of it, and start to contribute my energy to this exciting world. I believe that most people who have no technical background like me will be more or less crazy in the face of the encryption world, but its charm deeply attracts us and we can’t stop. Is there a path that can help us enter the world more “lightly”? Some time ago, my good friend Coopahtroopa wrote a little bit. He said:
How to join the crypto world without a technical background? I tell you five ways to add value to you without writing a single line of code!
After reading it, I feel the same way, and I am also following this step by step. So, I compiled his experience into five tips and tricks for all non-technical personnel, hoping to help you!
Tip 1: Find a suitable position
Whether it is DeFi, NFT or social tokens, you can find a web3 field that inspires you and immerses you in this world. Pay attention to all related projects and make yourself an expert in a specific field of emerging knowledge.
Coopahtroopa provides us with a comprehensive map of the field
Tip 2: Learn to write
Practice writing as much as possible. Don’t write with the mentality of writing for readers, but make writing a tool. Through writing, you can learn and explain the content in the simplest way.
Hone your craft and spread information about new trends.
Coopahtroopa provided us with a guide to business writing 101:
- Shorten the sentence
- Express opinions quickly
- Short profile
- Use concise sentences
- Make good use of graphs and statistics
- Reduce buzzwords
- More periods, fewer commas
- Write for skimming, not intensive reading
- Bold key sentence
Well-wishers gave 5 additional key points:
- Make readers curious about the first sentence
- Refined short section> Long section repeat
- Check fluency
- Boldly overthrow and rewrite
- Read aloud what you write
Tip 3: Join the community
Join a group that shares your vision, get involved, and make yourself known. Now that the community is springing up, you always have the opportunity to meet new friends with the same interests.
Coopahtroopa provided us with a DAO beginner’s guide written by pet3rpan. Pet3rpan said that if you are new to the crypto world and want to try to participate in the community with a learning mindset, here are a few good ways to participate + contribute:
- Make meeting minutes for DAO’s community meetings
- Summarize the meeting minutes, other project or community issues and key progress information into a weekly newsletter and publish
- Help core contributors to conduct surveys to assess community views and feedback on the new DAO draft proposal
- Process community documents. See if there is an easy way for newcomers to learn and participate in the project? If so, how can it be improved?
- Help other people who are willing to join the community to join the community! Find those who are stuck in the problem and help them solve the problem
- Help coordinate the DAO’s routine meeting agenda. Prepare the agenda and ensure that the agenda is distributed to all members in advance so that they have enough time to get familiar with it. In addition, ensure that the meeting minutes are shared with all participants during the meeting
pet3rpan added: When I started my encryption journey, I really just wanted to help. I started by helping the community to take notes, and then I did some document bounty tasks and summary work of survey research. The best way to speed up this process is to devote yourself to it.
Note: Devotion is not measured by time. The focus is on passion and thinking.
Tip 4: Participate in governance
Each project has a governance forum, and the value of providing feedback and insights to the proposal is 100 times more valuable than voting a “YES” to the proposal. Projects like @MakerDAO, @BalancerLabs, @indexcoop have every reason to inspire you to do it!
Tip 5: Become a Super User
Find your familiar rhythm in new projects in the niche. We will see a continuous wave of airdrops, so now is the best time to try the product.
In addition, Coopahtroopa added three key points:
- Focus on everything other than currency speculation, and add value through participation rather than speculation.
- Invest in the future ~ Spend a year to hone your skills, and then the door of opportunity will open for you.
- No one can stop your ability to learn, this is the only business without a minimum capital threshold.
It’s no secret that great community managers are now in demand. Master how to unite your teammates around a common goal, and you will find that you can find an ideal job right away.
Starting from a non-technical background of web3 aboriginals, 2021 will be our world!
Takeaway
NiM∆ added the sixth tip to Coopahtroopa. NiM∆ said:
Another secret weapon is to build your own powerful IRL (In Real Life) network, whether it is an artist, founder or any social role, to help them link to the encrypted world or help them enter the encrypted world. We cannot help in 2016-2019, but today, the entire crypto world has begun to mature and we can act!
to sum up
You may have discovered that this kit is written for those who are willing to join the DAO or the community. But isn’t web3 built based on the community?
The five suggestions given by Coopahtroopa and the one added by NiM∆ are the key experiences from my own personal experience, especially writing. I use writing as a tool and slowly experience the flow of go to moon after becoming a habit!
Welcome to the world of encryption!
