[Blockchain Today Reporter Seungwon Jeong] Cointelegraph reported that Gemini, a major US cryptocurrency exchange, has suffered two service outages and reported performance degradation in mobile apps, web interfaces, and application programming interfaces.

According to an update to the Gemini status page, the cryptocurrency exchange began investigating reports of possible service outages at 13:24 am EST on the 10th (local time). The exchange said that all services had been restored after a few minutes, but after a few hours it reported another service interruption, stating that the system had deteriorated due to an unknown reason.

Currently, deposits and withdrawals of all Gemini supported tokens remain unaffected by service disruption. However, users of the company’s mobile app, interest income program Gemini Earn, and remittances may have problems. Gemini reported at 17:06 EST that the problem was fixed and monitored.
