The Jinju City Council has taken a groundbreaking step towards environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management by replacing traditional paper business cards with digital ones. To achieve this, they have decided to implement INFOME Co., Ltd.’s ‘ttogttog’ digital content business card service, which offers an outstanding feature allowing users to share both basic and additional information through a blog function. The service offers integrated management of all users’ business cards, enabling content updates via the PR channel.

Users can create and manage business cards for different purposes with just one account and share them with multiple recipients via KakaoTalk, text message, or QR code. The NFC tag card is another convenient option as it allows business cards to be shared with just a tap on a mobile phone, and can be saved directly to the phone’s contact list.

In line with this shift to digital business cards, the Jinju City Council has also produced NFC cards with council members’ affiliation, slogan, title, and name printed on them, which will be used as name tags during legislative activities. These cards are not limited to the delivery of business cards using the NFC function.

INFOME Co., Ltd.’s CEO, Kim Myeong-ok, praised the Jinju City Council’s decision to adopt digital business cards, noting that it was a first attempt by any institution, company, or local government. She believes that this shift will increase work efficiency and reduce unnecessary waste, and hopes that other organizations will follow suit.

To promote the adoption of digital business cards, INFOME Co., Ltd. offers free digital business card templates to public institutions, companies, and organizations to help showcase and promote themselves by incorporating various types of content.
