Welcome to Asia Blockcast Community (ABC). ABC is a community that is based in Asia and run by volunteers. We know the market very well and is backed by a panel of blockchain & crypto experts and influencers. Our mission is to create value for projects & members & educate the general public about blockchain and crypto through the work in our community.

1) Good to have you around. Give an introduction of yourself firstly, followed by your team, please.

Hi Everyone – I’m Miles, one of the owners of Elf Token. I am a Crypto Enthusiast part-time, work in Venture Capital, and am a full-time husband and father of 3 kids. The team consists of 15 members, all of which have different backgrounds to help us accomplish our goals for the long term. Ranging from small business owners to people who work in venture capital and finance, we have individuals who each do their part to help achieve our long-term vision. All graphics, operations, communication, etc. is currently in house, and we have people available to assist 24 hours a day.

2) Can you tell us how you came up with the idea of the ELF Token?

Our team wanted to come up with a token to benefit society. With Christmas around the corner, we figured the movie Elf was a perfect fit. Holiday-themed and popular of course, and shared the same positive energy and overall giving theme we were looking for.

3) Tell us how you are going to be fulfilling Buddy’s vision?

Buddy’s mission in the movie was to spread holiday cheer when “Christmas Spirit” was at an all-time low. With society today and the impacts of COVID leaving families losing loved ones and jobs, we wanted to help out our community during these tough times. Creating a coin that gives passive income to holders, rewards are active and vocal investors, all while giving to charity seemed like the perfect combination.

4) Can you tell us about your tokenomics? What is special about it? Why did you pick BUSD as your reflection or reward token, are you planning potentially more in the future?

What is special about our tokenomics is we are not a rewards coin, or a charity coin, but rather a ‘community coin’ that takes both concepts. We offer 5-6% BUSD rewards, and 2% of every transaction goes to our charity wallet. BUSD was selected as a stable form of income, something we wanted to offer since the world of cryptocurrency is extremely volatile. We have discussed the potential of changing the reward structure of the tokenomics, however, this will be done based on a team and community vote.

5) Walk us through your marketing plans for the month of December. Technically, its your month!

We are excited to gear up marketing this month for sure! We have AMAs planned across different communities, to help spread the word. We are teaming up with a few influencers already across various social media networks, who have been great at getting the word out with updates. We will be doing a bunch of giveaways through our “25 Days of Christmas” initiative to reward the community as well.

6) What is your product and technology roadmap like?

We are in the weeds right now with both our NFT creations and gaming roadmap. NFT’s look like they will be released this December, and will begin with a ‘holiday-themed’ release to keep the theme common. More releases to come in the future. I don’t want to give too much away on the game just yet, but we are looking to do a similar ‘holiday-themed’ game release around the same time.

7) Where are your key revenue coming from?

Revenue is solely being driven through transaction volume and tax. However, this will expand with the NFT releases and other potential ideas we have in the works (no spoilers just yet!)

8) What listing plans do you have in mind?

We have talked to a few different exchanges who would support our current tokenomics, but it is more discussions at this point. A realistic timeframe you can see us listed on an exchange would be the mid-end of December or the beginning of the new year.

9) Are you planning on using other charities in the future to give back to other things as well?

We love working with Toys for Tots and love their cause, so at the moment we aren’t planning on switching. However, we do have something in the works to include other charitable causes where the community will be able to vote on this. We are also open to the idea of splitting the donation wallet to go to another charity as well, we just believe in the Toys for Tots cause and don’t plan on dropping them as a partner.

10) Share an inspiring quote to “wow” all of us please.

“You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” Sylvester Stallone from Rocky Balboa.

I’m a big sports fan and believe times are tough for a lot of people. But it is not about giving up, it’s about perseverance and inner drive to accomplish your dreams or the dreams of others. We have donated over $30,000 to underprivileged kids so far, and we will not stop no matter what.
