Asset tokenization, underpinned by blockchain infrastructure, has already set out to transform what is forecast to be a trillion-dollar industry. From traditional financial assets such as bonds and shares to commodities, real estate, fleets of vehicles, works of art, or sports teams – nearly every asset can be tokenized.

Deloitte, the global consulting and audit company, and RIDDLE&CODE, Europe’s leading blockchain interface solutions provider, share a vision about the importance of secure identity solutions and the effectiveness of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). After years of work on launching tomorrow’s industry-grade infrastructure in a rapidly changing digital economy, we decided to share our learnings. Together with leading industry partners, such as Börse Stuttgart’s Digital Exchange (BSDEX) and Frankfurt School’s Blockchain Center, we set out to create a well-rounded program that will allow participants to learn and experience tokenization first-hand. The goal is to provide all the theoretical know-how and practical testbed experience and cover all aspects of tokenization.

In this online panel discussion, we will introduce you to the Tokenization Testbed Program and:

  1. Cover the technology components needed to embark on a successful tokenization journey
  2. Discuss how to prepare as an organization and get the strategy right
  3. Assess all the legal and business model implications behind tokenization

After the introduction of the program, we will have an open debate with a topic “Why and how tokenization will shape the industry in the upcoming years.” The discussion will not be limited to the tokenization of existing financial assets, but will also cover a wide range of use cases and assess the current regulatory landscape. During the discussion, we will answer questions such as:

  1. Why should all leading companies prepare for token-based business models and processes
  2. How additional economic value generation can be enabled by providing liquidity for various types of assets
  3. How blockchain provides the required building blocks for tokenization – from secure key management to machine or object identity solutions and token issuance.
