On Friday, the decentralized transaction aggregation service released its governance tokens, and the most trader received tokens worth about $20 million in airdrops.
As part of the 1inch governance token release, the platform airdropped 90 million 1inch tokens to users who had previously traded on the exchange. According to data from the on-chain data analysis website Dune, one of the DeFi traders who received the most airdrops received 9,749,686.003 tokens, which is worth about US$20 million based on the current price of approximately US$2 per token.
Through the analysis of the address, the user has carried out a lot of liquid mining activities, and there are many loan and mortgage transactions. This address is also active on Automated Market Maker (AMM) platforms such as Uniswap and SushiSwap.
In total, more than 55,200 addresses are eligible to receive free 1inch tokens. According to Dune’s data, more than half of the coins have been received. The average number of tokens obtained by these addresses is about 1,629, and qualified addresses can guarantee at least 600 1inch tokens.
To obtain an empty investment grid, traders must complete a transaction on the platform before September 15. Users who have executed a total of 4 transactions or transactions worth at least $20 before December 24 are also eligible to apply for free tokens.
The 1inch token rose by 16% to 2.9 USD after its release, but has since fallen back to around 2 USD. According to a report by “Beijing”, the project successfully raised US$12 million in a round of financing supported by Pantera Capital in early December.
