About Speaker: Francois Zhang, CAIA FRM CQF
Co-founder and Managing Partner at Chaintech Ventures, Vice President at NTU School of Computer Science & Engineering Alumni Association
Francois has 3 years of experience in the financial industry having worked for Credit Suisse and Asia Pacific Real Estate Holdings. Francois has advised and helped various start-ups with their growth executions. His core work includes blockchain advisory, crypto investment research and in-house venture development based on his strong grasp of blockchain technology and business strategies. He also serves as Vice President at NTU School of Computer Science & Engineering Alumni Association and Mentor at SMU Alumni Association and BestTop Career Consulting. In his free time, Francois helps with the development of Youth Chapter subcommittee of the Singapore Zhang Clan General Association.
Francois is currently the ICO adviser and project manager for Universal Labs, YouDeal and Volata Cycles for their ICO campaigns and regional business development. He also teaches lectures on blockchain & crypto investments at CoinDecipher and writes column articles at BitKan.
Francois has earned the CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst), FRM (Financial Risk Manager) and CQF (Certificate in Quantitative Finance) designations within two years. Francois holds a Master in Applied Finance from Singapore Management University and a Bachelor in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University with Minor in Business and Minor in Entrepreneurship.
