Drawing on our experience and role as a community with different members in the memecoin space, we would express our view as follows: The fundamental concept of a meme, whether it is an image, a symbol, or a situation, is something that resonates with people, takes on meaning (be it humorous, philosophical, or otherwise), and evolves into a movement. This movement comprises individuals who understand the memecoin’s significance, feel connected to it, and are willing to spread its message further. A memecoin embodies this culture within the crypto world, where so much hinges on public attention, specifically the strength of a given meme or narrative and its ability to capture that attention, translating it into actual purchases and social media promotion.
Today, 99% of memecoins are merely short-lived spikes, local narratives, news items, or images sparked by a celebrity or a specific event. Fundamentally, they lack substance; that is precisely why 99% of them survive for only a few days, fading away once the story loses its buzz. Much like in the media, where one news story quickly displaces another, leaving you unable to recall what you read just last week, most memecoins are fleeting. Just as there are truly massive historical events that everyone remembers and iconic internet memes, which are images instantly recognizable to all, there are also memecoins that achieve universal recognition or possess the staying power to endure for years rather than days.
Community is the key to success. It consists of genuinely interested individuals, people fired up by an idea who champion it far and wide. They do not care about a memecoin’s price at any given moment; instead, they live the story and experience the journey itself. Community is a powerful force; as in any sphere, people are the primary organic element, the living spark that energizes others.
We are convinced that a strong community lies behind every powerful project or token; there is no other way. There are simply strong communities that have not yet gained widespread recognition, for the energy within their chats is truly captivating; that is the very magic of communities driving their ideas forward.
Moving on to the next point, decentralization stems from the ability of anyone to be part of whatever they choose, to join or create communities, to share specific values, and to demonstrate where true power lies. In today’s reality, that is not quite the case.
Memecoins, which were originally created precisely around the ideals of decentralization and freedom of speech, have also become subject to control and, to some extent, corruption.
Some people can engineer an artificial pump, secure a Tier-1 exchange listing on day one, and bring in insiders; or, conversely, try to destroy the community by actively undermining it, getting it delisted from various platforms, and creating obstacles at every turn. This is precisely what happened to us. In such cases, the memecoin lacks decentralization and the very ideas and values with which memecoins were originally created. That is also why most communities are always in a fight with or for something.
Memecoins are about community; they are stories and narratives that allow anyone, anywhere in the world, to become part of them. Be honest with yourself and those around you, uphold the qualities you value, and fight for the truth.
