The city of Busan is accelerating the creation of a blockchain innovation cluster by attracting blockchain companies from the metropolitan area to the blockchain special zone.
The city announced on the afternoon of the 21st that it had signed a business agreement with 15 companies, including NHN, Tesla Korea, and Medium, to attract investment from offshore blockchain companies.
At the signing ceremony on this day, Medium Co., Ltd., Fang Sky Co., Ltd., Let Games Co., Ltd., Growwin Co., Ltd., Dubitnarae Soft Co., Ltd., Data Labs Co., Ltd., Petdak Co., Ltd., Wayne Technology Co., Ltd., Land Over Co., A total of 15 companies participated, including 11 companies including DCM and Codexbridge, and 4 new investment companies, including NHN, Tesla Korea, Daeyoung Chaevi, and Brave Entertainment.
Through this agreement, Busan City and participating companies have decided to cooperate with each other to create a blockchain innovation cluster.
Participating companies promote blockchain-based Δcommerce and payment businesses, Δestablish a digital content research institute, Δset up a future automobile research institute and a blockchain technology research institute, and Busan City will be in charge of related administrative support.
