Blockchain technology has imbued digital economies with unique characteristics needed to share value in a trustless manner. However, the security of these new economies, their transactions, and incentives for participation must continually evolve to allow for further adoption and to garner trust in the underlying technology.
To assist in this exploration, Blockchain at Berkeley is hosting the Crypto-Economics Security Conference (CESC), a conference that will bring together researchers and practitioners in the blockchain industry to discuss and showcase novel research in this exciting field. More information can be found at the conference website: http://cesc.io/
