What is CVX?

In essence, Convex Finance is a platform that allows users to stake their Curve DAO (CRV) tokens for a boosted rate with maximised yields. The entire ecosystem is built on top of the Curve Finance network.

Those who provide liquidity in the form of CRV tokens can earn Curve trading fees, boosted CRV and CVX tokens. This means that those who stake CRV can earn additional CRV on top of CVX tokens and Curve trading fees, while those who stake their CVX rewards back into the platform can earn platform fees.

It appears to be a thriving system that is benefiting from the growth of the Curve Finance service.

What is LKM?

Launched in April of this year, Lokum Finance is an automated market maker (AMM). In short, this is a form of decentralised finance (DeFi) application that allows users to exchange tokens, providing liquidity via farming and earning fees in return.

Unlike CVX, LKM is not directly tied to a larger project, though it does run on the Binance Smart Chain and allows users to swap BEP20 tokens.

Should I buy Convex Finance or Lokum Finance tokens?

That depends on what you are looking for from your investment. Both CVX and LKM are good choices for long-term holders because of the staking rewards they offer. However, CVX is tied to the more reputable project in Curve Finance.

Lokum Finance remains an inexpensive token, whereas Convex Finance is now up above $16, making choosing between the two also a matter of your budget.

If you want to get involved with liquidity provision, both CVX and LKM are good candidates. Moreover, if you just buy into the fundamentals on either project, holding to speculate on future price movements could also be a smart move.

CVX and LKM price prediction

It is difficult to provide a price target for both CVX and LKM right now. They are both new projects, and while it is possible to create a prediction, we want to see both projects in action for a little longer before putting a number on things.
