[Blockchain Today Correspondent Han Ji-hye] Jellyspace announced on the 30th that it successfully ended the ‘Character Licensing Fair 2021’, the largest character licensing event in Korea.

Jelly Space participated in the ‘Character Licensing Fair 2021’ held for four days from November 25th to November 28th.

‘Character Licensing Fair 2021’ is an event hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and co-hosted by the Korea Creative Content Agency and COEX.

By participating in this event, Jelly Space planned to popularize its own characters and collaborate through IP licensing.

Jelly Space met 1,500 fans at this event and was able to secure a wide fan base beyond 2030, including not only illustrators, but families, middle and high school students, college students, and influencers.

In particular, children’s interest in the ‘Jelly’ character, which was not expected, stood out. The unique character concept of ‘Jelly trying to conquer the Earth that has fallen from space’ attracted children’s interest.

In addition, Jelly Space put a mask patch with Jelly’s character on the mask of all the visitors to the booth, and all visitors to the fairground wore the Jelly’s mask patch, creating an indirect promotional effect. It was marketing using masks, which have become a necessity in the era of Corona.

An official from Jellyspace said, “Participating in this character licensing fair was an opportunity to build awareness among various age groups and meet new business partners.
