Microsoft today announced that it has joined Hyperledger to expand its blockchain efforts. Hyperledger is a Linux Foundation community that focuses on open source implementations of the emerging specifications and standards for blockchain and distributed ledgers. It is important to note that Microsoft is also a founding member of both the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) and the Token Taxonomy Initiative (TTI). Microsoft has joined these communities to work on standards and specification efforts that will enable cross-chain interoperability and integration in the industry.Over the past few years, we have seen several blockchain-based solutions on the market. Last year, Microsoft released the Azure Blockchain Development Kit which brings together blockchain with the best of Microsoft and third-party SaaS.
