According to a Cointelegraph report on the 30th (local time), the Paris-based restaurant ‘Le Bistrot d’Eleonore et Maxence’ added SHIB as a payment method to join the growing cryptocurrency adoption process.
This was revealed in a video shared by local resident and cryptocurrency investor Natheno Davy. In an interview with Cointelegraph, Davy said, “Before filming the video, I asked the restaurant staff to double-check that they had added Shibainu as a payment method. “It was a magical moment,” he said.
If you look at the video, there is a sticker on the front door of the restaurant that reads ‘Shibainu is allowed’ written on it.
Davy later revisited the restaurant with her friends and paid €250 (about $290) for food with Shivanu. After the video went viral on social media platforms, the restaurant said, “Thank you for your efforts,” and that the number of customers has risen sharply.
