Join ConsenSys Academy to learn about the evolution of blockchain technology and how it has helped to reshape the global landscape since its inception in 2008. We will discuss the best way to learn about this technology, talk about real world use cases and case studies, and provide resources and next steps for those looking to understand, leverage and implement blockchain in their business.
This session is non-technical and is suitable for anyone with an interest in blockchain technology including executives, senior or middle managers, project managers and business analysts.
Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of what blockchain technology is, how other organisations are currently using it and how you can participate in this technology that is helping to change the world. There will be time for Q&A at the end as well.

About Sean Au
Sean is the APAC Head of Enterprise Education for ConsenSys Academy and has delivered enterprise training to large multinational organisations such as LG, SK and Union Bank of the Philippines. Since 2009, he has trained over 200+ corporations in various technologies. He is a former certified IBM Websphere Cast Iron trainer and has been an authorized Atlassian trainer since 2011. Sean created and delivered New Zealand’s first blockchain training course leading to certification in 2017 for the Blockchain Association of New Zealand where he was the president at the time.
Sean has been in the blockchain space since 2014 studying everything related to blockchains. He is the co-author of Tokenomic: The Crypto Shift of Blockchains, ICOs and Tokens, the current education chair of the Blockchain Association of New Zealand and a member of ISO/TC307 Blockchains and Distributed Ledger Technologies.
