[Blockchain Today Correspondent Han Ji-hye] Fortress, a shooting game with a history of more than 20 years, announced that it will launch a service targeting the global market with the blockchain version ‘Fortress Arena’ that combines P2E and NFT.
Fortress was the first game to receive the title of ‘National Game’ among domestic games in the early 2000s. At one time, the game called Fortress made a mark in the history of online games in Korea, recording 10 million members and 100,000 concurrent users for the first time in the world.
‘Fortress Arena’ is a sequel to ‘Fortress V2’ developed by Letiad, who signed an official IP contract with Fortress. Retiad plans to target the global market by combining NFT and P2E-related technologies based on blockchain in ‘Fortress Arena’.
The public sale is currently in progress, and details about the sale can be found on the relevant website. The sale ends at midnight (Korean time) on the 12th. Fortress Arena is planning various benefits by giving the symbol of the first Fortress NFT to users who participated in this sale, and is preparing an airdrop of the same NFT to a blockchain other than Ethereum where the game can be run stably.
Other than that, the Founder’s Tank will be paid to users who participated in the first NFT through lottery, and various events will be held to give various benefits to early users through staking in the planned event pool.
Fortress Arena announced that Fortress, a game loved by users who are issuing the first NFT this time, will provide a special experience through PVP or PVE mode with its own NFT collection.
