Comprehensive transaction

• OpenSea-the number one NFT exchange and the king of the NFT ecosystem. This is the most comprehensive one-stop shop that allows users to trade NFTs, create NFTs, view data, and access other wallets.
• Mintbase-a marketplace for buying, selling and minting NFTs. The main difference of Mintbase is that it provides NFTs that are not common on other platforms. For example, Mintbase covers niche NFT categories such as music, memberships, services, tickets, news, and photography.
• TokenTrove-a marketplace for trading Gods Unchained, Cryptovoxels and Crypto Space Commander NFT.

Art market

• SuperRare-a NFT art trading market with the deepest qualifications and an absolute dominant position. Artists must apply to be allowed to sell on SuperRare, and the waiting list is very long.
• Nifty Gateway-Nifty Gateway is an NFT art platform, launched at the beginning of this year, and has now become an extremely important participant in the NFT field. Nifty Gateway is owned by Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange founded by the Winklevoss brothers.
• Rarible-The first NFT art market to implement token incentive trading. This is a major move, and I believe many people will follow suit.

• NFTBank-a platform with excellent NFT portfolio tracking and analysis tools. Just copy and paste an ETH address, and the tool will return all its NFT transaction data.

• NFTfi-the first non-financing secured loan platform. Users can obtain income by lending ETH or DAI loans to users who use their NFT as collateral. Vice versa, users can pledge their NFT to obtain ETH or DAI loans. NFTfi has achieved impressive growth after its launch this year, and I look forward to the future development of the platform (Note: I am an investor in NFTfi, so I am very biased!)
• NIFTEX-A place where NFT is divided into “fragments”. These shards are ERC20 tokens. Compared with NFT, these shards can achieve higher liquidity transactions.

I classify collectibles as assets with few functions. You can think of them as baseball cards, but because they are digital, they can do more.

• CryptoPunks-The first batch of NFTs issued on Ethereum. They are a collection of 10,000 pixels.
• NBA Top Shot-NFT collection authorized by the NBA. Please note that these NFTs are located on the Flow blockchain, not the Ethereum blockchain.
• CryptoKitties-the first NFT project to be widely spread on the Internet, it makes people excited about the potential of NFT. They are cute cats with different characteristics and rarities, and can be reproduced to produce more cats.
• Avastars-an avatar that is completely generated on the chain. The Avastars team is working on many exciting updates, so maybe I will need to move them from the “Favorites” category to the “Games” category soon.
• SoRare-a fantasy football game, users can use the official digital player card to buy, trade and play games.

Game NFTs can be classified as assets with high functionality in their universe or environment.

• Axie Infinity-the most popular crypto game. It has “fierce, fantasy pets, you can fight and collect while earning cryptocurrency.”
• Gods Unchained-a digital trading card game in which users can battle other players and trade cards.
• MyCryptoHeroes-a fast and random role-playing game where players can collect, train and fight.
• CryptoSpaceCommander-Space MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online Game), where users can fight, trade, and build spaceships and other things.

virtual reality

The virtual world can be classified as an immersive platform, where users own part or possibly all of the world.

• Cryptovoxels-Because users use blocks to build, Cryptovoxels is called the “Minecraft of Blockchain”. Cryptovoxels is the first blockchain-based virtual world and is popular among crypto artists and crypto art collectors. Currently, people and teams from all over the world are building amazing content on Cryptovoxels.
• Decentraland-Decentraland is the first project based on the blockchain virtual world to raise funds and build a strong team. Since the first ICO was issued in 2017, they have been busy building, and they have been very popular this year. Although Cryptovoxels is the first to “go online”, I still think Decentraland is the leader of blockchain-based virtual worlds.
• Somnium Space-a high-end virtual world for all people but especially for VR enthusiasts. Users can enter Somnium Space through a personal computer or use a VR headset to experience all the details.

NFTs x DeFi

• Aavegotchi-Aavegotchi makes “DeFi-Mortgable Crypto Collectibles” possible. They are pushing the limits, users can not only collect interesting NFTs, but also get income from their assets. I think that in the near future, we will see more integration between DeFi and NFT.
• MEME-MEME allows holders of $MEME tokens to pledge their tokens. In return, users can get rare NFTs. This is an interesting project because I personally like this scenario: In order to obtain rare non-functional NFTs, some “proof-of-work” methods must be implemented.
