How did our top 1,000 governors come out?
We selected the top 500 voters with the number of votes, the top 500 voters with the number of created proposals, and the top 500 voters with the number of DAOs or holding DAO tokens.
We selected the top 1000 from this set and made sure that each address not only joined at least one DAO, but also created at least one proposal or voted on at least one proposal. These are by far the most active people in DAO governance-innovators and early adopters.
In the future, we will explore useful and interesting indicators of governance personnel. The social graph in each governance community is very rich, and we will explore it further.
