[Blockchain Today Reporter Jihye Han] BCT Company (CEO Taeho Lee) announced on the 16th that it has signed a strategic alliance for joint business with Microgroove (CEO Cody Phillip) on the 12th.
BCT Company is a software development company that has an integrated solution that combines IoT and DID fields based on blockchain technology.
Microsoft Groove, headquartered in Seattle, USA, develops core software for Microsoft’s X-box business. The company previously conducted a Starbucks bean origin tracking management project using blockchain technology with Microsoft.
“We are positively reviewing new technologies using BCT Company’s DID solution and IoT card as a new business division of Microgroove, and we plan to introduce them to the US market,” said Philip, CEO of Microgroove.
Lee Tae-ho, CEO of BCT Company, explained, “In order to commercialize the innovative technology of blockchain, it is necessary to establish a new service process from the customer’s perspective and establish a global business model, so we decided to actively utilize the know-how of Microgroove for this purpose.”
The two companies agreed to promote entry into the US market as soon as possible, and it was confirmed that the establishment of a US corporation is under discussion after the second half of 2021.
