It was found that the income of cryptocurrency miners also surged in tandem with the increasing popularity of cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin breaking the resistance of $50,000.

The Incheon Headquarters Customs announced on the 5th that the number of miners brought into Korea as express cargo has been increasing rapidly in recent months.

Miners are a system that generates cryptocurrency with high-performance graphics cards, and there were many imports in Korea from the time the cryptocurrency began to be known in Korea until 2018.

However, in 2019, as the price of cryptocurrency plummeted, the Mac was cut off to the point that only one imported domestic product.

The increase in the number of miners brought into Korea is due to the recent bitcoin craze.

Nine vehicles were brought into Korea in October last year, and 11 and 4 vehicles were brought into the country in November and December, respectively. The number of miners brought in increased further this year, reaching 17 units in January. A total of 41 vehicles were brought in within four months.

During the same period, Bitcoin broke through the $50,000 mark, which had served as a resistance line, and continues to fluctuate.

After surpassing $58,000 on the 22nd of last month and reaching an all-time high, it fell to the $43,000 level on the 1st of this month due to inflation concerns, but rose again to 52,000 on the 4th of this month.
