1. Welcome KamiTribe to Asia Blockchain Community. Can you tell us about your team, as well as your experience in the cryptocurrency or NFT space?
Light and I started with getting into the crypto market at the beginning of 2017. The NFT space however is a bit new to us, compared to cryptocurrency. We’ve been keeping track of the NFT market for about a year now. Back in college, I used to make lots of drawings just because I loved doing so. While doing my studies on wed designing I thought to use my creativity in a different way. And when Light and I stumbled upon NFTs we were very intrigued by the possibilities with it. We saw how people like Beeple and Murat Pak managed to do what they love, simply by creating and selling their passion. Shortly after, Light and I realized that there are also NFTs with whole communities built around it, like Cryptopunks and Bored ape Yacht Club, which gave us the inspiration to look at NFTs not only from a creative angle but also a social one.
2. Tell us more about Kamitribe. How do you stand out from the rest?
KAMI is a collection of 6,999 K.A.M.I. NFTs—unique digital collectibles living on the Ethereum blockchain. Your KAMI doubles as your Tribe mark, and grants access to kami-only benefits, the first of which is access to THE HIDEOUT, an area on the website to hang out with other kami. Future areas and perks can be unlocked by the community through roadmap activation.

3. Can you walk us through your tokenomics?
We do have a DAO token on our roadmap, but haven’t worked out the details just yet. When we reach that goal we plan to develop a DAO token in cooperation with the community.
4. What is your marketing plan like?
We focus on the anime and gaming scene mostly and on people who are really invested in NFTs.
We do this by :
– By promoting on social media channels like Twitter, Telegram and Reddit
– Reach out to influencers, anime lovers and gamers via Twitch and Youtube and Twitter
– Working on drawing eye-catching teasers which can be seen on Twitter and our Discord channel
– Doing giveaways on Twitter and Discord
– Get people to join the pre-sale if they invite their friends over to our server
– Creating Easter Eggs on the website to win Rare NFTs
– Working on collaborations with Fazeclan (Mew in particular – Twitch streamer)
– Publish our articles on NFT related websites like we just did with NFTculture
– Having a community manager as a friend at Coindesk, working on getting our article published
The main goal of these plans is to eventually find more key partners to work together with, so we can get the ball rolling for our NFT project.
5. What will be the rarity and amount of each different level of NFT?
There will be
– 4461 Shiroi : Common : Approx : 64%
– 2269 Aka : Uncommon : Approx : 32%
– 269 Ki : Rare : Approx : 4%
Within the rare ones, there will also be a total of 9 1on1’s, meaning that these will be unique.
6. I see as well you are doing exclusive access to the website with your NFT, how will you be able to gain access with this?
Ah, you mean the Kami Hideout. This will be a place for people that minted our Kami. We plan to close down the Discord server after we launch. By closing down, I mean that only people that actually own a Kami will have access to the important channels in our server. They will also be provided with information about the development of KamiOnline and our manga.
7. Apart from the tokenomics and sale of NFT, do you have other revenue streams? Tell us more.
As a matter of fact, we will create a section on our website where people will be able to purchase merchandise. The first batch of Kami hoodies and caps will be delivered and used for giveaways. The first batch is to be expected within now and 2 weeks.
8. What is your listing plan like?
We are currently working on a partnership with Opensea en will be making use of their channels.
We’ve planned to let a certain amount of NFT specific blogs post an article about us right before we launch. That way we want to have as much impact as possible to gain more audience for Kami.
9. Metaverse is the big thing now. Will there be a metaverse side to your project as well, or will there be a piece of land potentially where people can go meet up to talk about KamiTribe or form a Tribe :>
Well about that. At the moment Light is working on designing the world map for KamiOnline. The idea is to create an X amount of map grids on that map. Every Kami owner will have the possibility to purchase a piece or a zone of the map. Because of the amount of Kami holders we have, the holders will be able to purchase the same piece of land. This means that for example You bought the piece of land with a city on it, then the dungeon and a few surrounding pieces of land that are part of that city will give your character unique advances in that specific area. Take note, that this is still a concept we are thinking of and we will discuss this with the community to see how everybody thinks about this.
10. Always like to ask this at the end, is there another part of your project we might not have talked about that and you feel is important? Leave us a quote that will remind everyone of you too?
We are in this for the long haul. We’ve set up some goalposts for ourselves. Once we hit a target sell-through percentage, we will begin to work on realizing the stated goal. Nothing is better than experiencing it yourself. Come by to our Discord group to experience the charm of K.A.M.I.
