It also applied for trademarks for virtual food and beverage related products and downloadable multimedia files including artwork, text, audio and video files, and NFTs. McDonald’s is known to have filed a trademark application for the McCafe brand with the same content in the Metaverse trademark application.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, Walmart and Crocs have already submitted trademark applications indicating that they plan to offer virtual goods, digital assets and NFTs.
